Key Responsibilities

  • •Travel within 60 miles of your residency to a facility or site location to directly observe student performance.
  • •Establish and maintain a professional working relationship with the cooperating health care organization.
  • •Maintain effective communication with students, cooperating preceptor/mentor, Office of Field Experience (OFE), and GCU Course Faculty.
  • •Provide adequate records for the CONHCP student and supply those records to GCU Course Faculty using Typhon.
  • •Apply evaluation procedures, support compliance with program accreditation requirements, and encourage learner responsibility during field experience.

  • •Minimum of two years of professional experience in an FNP role.
