Key Responsibilities

•Design, build, and own low-level systems across Fusion, Fusion Snapshots, Ignite, and Sched.
•Write reliable, well-tested code primarily in Go and C, using Rust and JVM components where needed.
•Work close to OS internals, including FUSE filesystems, Linux namespaces, CRIU checkpoint/restore, and process supervision.
•Lead multi-cloud orchestration and scheduling: provider abstractions, instance selection, autoscaling, spot-instance fault tolerance, and durable async queues.
•Drive performance engineering (I/O, caching, buffer pools, bandwidth management) and raise standards for testing, observability, and operational excellence, while mentoring engineers.
