Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform electro-mechanical technical activities such as design, test, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, and assembly of electronics and electro-mechanical systems.
  • •Test and troubleshoot electrical/mechanical system and sub-system issues at both system and component levels; support new installations and field upgrades.
  • •Conduct testing using schematics, diagrams, and technical descriptions; compile logbooks and test procedures documentation.
  • •Assist in revising and implementing department procedures; perform required mechanical/electrical/pneumatic/vacuum and process testing aligned to engineering and manufacturing specifications.
  • •Maintain a secure, safe, clean work environment, follow operating instructions and PPE requirements, and generate quality notifications for malfunctions.

Key Requirements

  • •Perform moderately complex electro-mechanical functions including design, test, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, and assembly.
  • •Ability to test and troubleshoot system-level and component-level problems in electrical/mechanical systems and sub-systems.
  • •Comfort working from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, and layouts/plans for moderate testing and troubleshooting.
  • •Use hand and power tools and be able to work in physically demanding conditions, including standing for long periods and lifting; operate/drive heavy machinery such as forklifts.
  • •Demonstrate safety discipline by observing safety standards, attending required health and safety training, and promptly reporting hazards or emergencies.
