Key Responsibilities

  • •Grow the Looker practice across the Nordics by leading engagements, identifying new business opportunities, and advising clients on modern analytics.
  • •Own delivery quality by setting LookML development standards, reviewing the team’s work, and ensuring deliverables exceed client expectations.
  • •Build and maintain trust-based relationships with Google local and regional teams to position Devoteam as a preferred Looker partner.
  • •Mentor and lead the data team by developing and upskilling team members and supporting continuous learning across the modern data stack.
  • •Partner with sales by connecting market trends to new Looker features and capabilities, including conversational analytics, to shape client offerings.

Key Requirements

  • •Several years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and deploying enterprise Looker solutions, with deep expertise in LookML including caching policies, PDTs, and hub-and-spoke architectures.
  • •Strong proficiency in Google Cloud, especially BigQuery, including query optimization and partitioning.
  • •Ability to design BI and analytics solutions end to end across the warehouse, modelling layer, semantic layer, and consumption, making trade-offs between dbt and LookML/PDTs.
  • •Deep SQL knowledge and hands-on experience with transformation tools such as dbt.
  • •Track record of leading technical teams and presenting to stakeholders with confidence.
