Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and evolve the roadmap for Notion’s core mobile AI surfaces (chat, capture, agent workflows, workspace Q&A, lightweight creation flows)
  • •Lead the mobile AI engineering team from exploration to shipped product using prototypes, user feedback, and product data
  • •Improve production quality of mobile AI by identifying instrumentation gaps, reliability risks, and performance bottlenecks before they reach users
  • •Help the team build the technical foundations for fast iteration across mobile, web, and server boundaries
  • • recruit, coach, and grow engineers, build an inclusive team, and communicate clearly through disagreement

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years of engineering management experience leading teams that shipped high-quality products at scale
  • •Hands-on technical leadership to guide architecture, performance, reliability, and release-quality decisions
  • •Hands-on with AI tools and curiosity about how AI changes product development, engineering workflows, and user expectations
  • •Ability to turn open-ended product bets into clear strategy, sequencing, staffing, and delivery
  • •Strong cross-functional leadership and ability to recruit, coach, and grow engineers while communicating clearly through disagreement
