Key Responsibilities

  • •Own, build, and manage infrastructure for aerial autonomy development, including onboard systems and the team development environment.
  • •Develop critical onboard components such as process management, health monitoring, configuration management, and message passing.
  • •Own the build system and middleware layer (ROS2), including cross-compilation for Jetson targets.
  • •Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, regression testing, and parameterization (schema, validation, migration, deployment).
  • •Build robotics logging/plotting/debugging tools and define onboard reliability standards (watchdogs, failover, graceful degradation).

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in a robotics company in an infrastructure-focused role.
  • •Experience with robotics middleware such as ROS2 (and related tools like LCM, eCal, Apex.AI).
  • •Strong C++ and Python skills with comfort in systems-level debugging.
  • •Experience with build systems and package managers including CMake, Bazel, Nix, and/or Conan.
  • •Experience with NVIDIA Jetson and JetPack, plus robotics logging and visualization tools like RViz, Foxglove, Rerun, or Plotly.
