Key Responsibilities

  • •Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical machine failures by disassembly, inspection, and use of technical documentation.
  • •Determine root causes of failures, correct conditions to prevent recurrence, and repair using current procedures while recommending improvements.
  • •Develop, document, and perform preventive and predictive maintenance tasks to maximize equipment reliability and generate out-of-tolerance reports when required.
  • •Perform precision maintenance activities (alignment checks, measuring mechanical clearances, balancing rotating equipment) and execute motor and plant lubrication tasks.
  • •Audit the maintenance program, comply with OSHA/state/local codes, participate in training, and record/access maintenance information in SAP.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED (or equivalent) and successful completion of a formal maintenance or technology program.
  • •Minimum three years of industrial maintenance experience in a general first-class maintenance capacity, with some electrical/control troubleshooting experience.
  • •Basic electrical knowledge (AC/DC voltage) and knowledge of PLCs and VFDs.
  • •Technical training in an accredited technical school (or equivalent) and certification in one or more areas such as industrial math, rigging, industrial maintenance, welding, pipefitting, machining, lubrication, or condition-based monitoring.
  • •Ability to read and understand labels, blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation; must pass pre-employment assessments, background check, and applicable physical/drug screen.
