Key Responsibilities

•Own whole services end-to-end; set latency and uptime targets for the evaluation path and related components
•Build and operate the feature flag tools, SDKs, evaluation services, and in-app UI that customers use to safely ship features and make data-driven decisions
•Improve reliability and performance; work to lower p50/p90/p99 latencies and decouple the evaluation path from upstream failures
•Port architecture and optimize infrastructure, including moving cache-building or related components to Rust where applicable
•Collaborate in a distributed team; ship changes quickly and independently while coordinating with teammates across time zones

•Productive in Rust and Python, or confident you'll get there fast; while the app is Django, the backend is moving to Rust

•Ship changes quickly without breaking a service customers depend on to launch
