Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, develop, validate, and support automated electrical test equipment, test hardware, and software-controlled test systems for aerospace products.
  • •Take technical ownership of assigned projects and work packages from requirements/concept through deployment and lifecycle support.
  • •Define technical approaches and make trade-offs across safety, performance, cost, schedule, reuse, and long-term support.
  • •Lead troubleshooting, root cause investigation, and corrective action for test equipment, test processes, and product test issues.
  • •Produce and release clear engineering documentation and collaborate with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, suppliers, customers, and other Eaton sites; mentor less experienced engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •Engineering or science degree, apprenticeship, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • •Minimum 7 years in engineering, manufacturing, aerospace, electrical test, automated test equipment, product development, or a closely related technical environment.
  • •Experience designing, developing, validating, or supporting electrical test hardware and software-controlled test systems.
  • •Able to interpret and review circuit diagrams, interface definitions, test requirements, and technical documentation.
  • •Comfortable debugging equipment using laboratory instruments such as digital multimeters and oscilloscopes.
