Key Responsibilities

  • •Create emerging power conversion and power system solutions using breakthrough technologies for industrial, automotive, truck, and aerospace applications.
  • •Lead and develop technology projects with local and remote teams and external technology resources (business divisions, universities, and customers).
  • •Advance state of the art power electronics, power systems, and power converter technologies, and identify commercialization opportunities across Eaton businesses.
  • •Initiate, lead, and support global technology programs using Eaton’s technology development processes, including business and project reviews.

Key Requirements

  • •PhD degree in a related field from an accredited institution.
  • •5+ years of industrial or entrepreneurial experience.
  • •Experience in low and medium voltage power conversion and power systems engineering, including specifications and prototype validation.
  • •Expertise in motor drive technology, drive/converter topologies, high-power electronics, electric machines and controls, and electrification/energy storage/grid-connected converters.
  • •Experience modeling and validating power converters and power systems using simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, Simplorer, PSIM, and/or PSCAD.
