Job Summary

Design and develop advanced RF/microwave passive components for phased array antenna systems, including circulators, radiators, filters, and transmit/receive (T/R) modules. Perform design analysis, verification, troubleshooting, and microwave testing using measurement and simulation techniques for printed circuit board and ceramic substrate technologies. Support program leadership and customer-facing, technically sound presentations within Raytheon’s Airborne Radar Electronics hardware engineering organization.

Key Responsibilities

•Contribute to the development of advanced RF/microwave components including circulators, radiators, filters, and other passive components.
•Perform design analysis, verification, troubleshooting, and testing for circulators, radiators, T/R modules, and RF/microwave subassemblies.
•Apply microwave measurement and verification techniques using microwave test equipment.
•Use electromagnetic simulation tools to support design and verification activities.
•Deliver clear technical presentations and provide program leadership, including support for program management in new business development.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics).
•Minimum 5 years of experience simulating, testing, integrating, verifying, and/or validating RF/microwave, T/R module, or antenna products.
•Design experience with phased array antennas/AESAs or RF/microwave subassemblies such as modules, radiators, beam formers, power splitters, feed networks, couplers, filters, circulators, and RF assemblies.
•Experience with electromagnetic simulation tools (e.g., Keysight ADS or MATLAB Simulink) and RF modeling tools such as CST or Ansys HFSS.
•U.S. citizenship required; must be able to obtain a DoD Secret clearance within one year of start date.
