Key Responsibilities

•Proactively identify and translate customer pain points into technical solutions by engaging directly with customers alongside Account Managers, supporting project conversion and value creation.
•Apply deep technical expertise in Nutritional Lipids (Algal & Marine) and HMOs to craft differentiated, science-backed value propositions.
•Coordinate between commercial and technical teams, mobilizing internal expert networks (Regulatory, Quality, Science, A&F) to co-develop robust, compliant, and innovative customer solutions.
•Deliver or coordinate technical sales support across the customer journey—pre- and post-sales—ensuring optimal product application, performance, and customer satisfaction.
•Lead external engagement through product presentations, technical trainings, innovation workshops and participation in technical events/conferences, positioning DSM-Firmenich as a trusted technical partner.

Key Requirements

•Degree in Science (e.g., Nutrition, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Food Science, Life Science)
•5-7 years of experience in B2B speciality chemicals (nutrition/health) or 8-10 years in adjacent B2B industries
•Experience in Nutritional Lipids & HMOs is a plus
•Customer-facing business development experience; ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders across geographies
•Willingness to travel and manage cross-regional collaboration
