Job Summary

Design and implement data centre infrastructure solutions as a cornerstone in the pre-sales process. Own end-to-end architecture across servers, storage, networking, power/cooling, and physical security, and advise on long-term capacity and compliance. Produce technical documentation, support development teams, and optimize network architectures using VMware, Hyper-V, and KVM. Guide Sales efforts with technical input, proof-of-concepts, and responses for rFP/rFI activities.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and implement end-to-end data centre architecture across servers, storage, networking equipment, power and cooling systems, and physical security measures.
•Evaluate and recommend data centre services aligned with business needs and ensure security and compliance standards.
•Analyze, develop, and recommend long-term plans so data centres meet current and future requirements.
•Design and optimize network architectures and virtual networking using VMware, Hyper-V, and KVM for scalability and security.
•Provide technical guidance in pre-sales, including client proof-of-concept support, technical documentation/specifications, and input to Sales for deal closure, forecasting, and rFP/rFI responses.

Key Requirements

•Comprehensive knowledge of data centre infrastructure components, networking technologies, and virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM).
•A good understanding of data centre security principles, compliance standards, and best practices.
•Proficiency designing and implementing network architectures, including LAN, WAN, and virtual networking.
•Expertise in server and storage technologies such as virtualization, blade servers, SAN, NAS, and data backup and recovery systems.
•A bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or information systems.
