Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the central point for agentic commerce questions, including what’s real, what’s hype, what to test, and what to ignore.
  • •Build and run hands-on experiments with working agents completing real transactions on live payment rails.
  • •Write code and wire up protocols needed to execute experiments, and recruit customers from the existing base when needed.
  • •Participate and represent Mesh in protocol working groups, hackathons, and standards-setting rooms to help shape the space.
  • •After hypotheses are validated, write the case, size the bet, and defend it with the SVP of Product to determine where Mesh invests first.

  • •Experience building something real in an early-stage setting (startup, side project, or agent) and learning from it in the real world.
  • •Ability to take an idea to a working prototype yourself, including coding, APIs, and AI tools.
  • •Form strong positions with incomplete information, then update when evidence changes; explain what you believed and what killed it.
  • •Demonstrated builder mindset: show what you built and walk through the decisions.
  • •Crypto or payments domain knowledge is a plus; genuine curiosity about how money moves is required.
