Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive mechanical supplier and contract manufacturer readiness so tools, processes, and fixtures realize design intent with high quality and yield.
  • •Collaborate with the NVIDIA mechanical team on critical-to-function requirements to ensure partner processes support design intent.
  • •Perform detailed DFM and DFA analysis and liaison with engineering to provide solutions using best industry practice.
  • •Lead efforts to resolve issues impacting quality, yield, and manufacturability by evaluating risks and applying corrective actions.
  • •Audit production processes and assembly implementations with suppliers/CEMs; review specifications, step-by-step assembly evaluation, and fixture/jig development.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or equivalent practical experience) with 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • •Strong mechanical product design and manufacturing background with hands-on DFM/DFA experience and design optimization.
  • •Solid understanding of materials, metallurgy, plastics, solid mechanics, manufacturing processes, and product development (server experience is a plus).
  • •Experience driving NPI and manufacturing process development across multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • •Proficiency with Creo (or equivalent CAD) plus tolerance analysis, GD&T, and manufacturing inspection/testing knowledge.
