Job Function: Laboratory & Clinical Operations

Key Responsibilities

•Rounding on all inpatients (postpartum, antepartum) with approximately 5-10 inpatients daily on average.
•Cover obstetric patients during 24-hour shifts and manage deliveries (approximately three deliveries per 24-hour shift).
•Collaborate with on-site NICU team (Level 3 NICU) and anesthesia/pediatrics to ensure urgent obstetric care.
•Support coverage for eleven obstetricians and coordinate with back-up by UMP Obstetricians and OB Hospitalist Group (on-site).
•Participate in patient care planning, ensure documentation and continuity of care across shifts.
