Develop hands-on AI/ML and agent-based solutions for power plant operations, translating plant data into actionable AI use cases. Build intelligent tools to automate control logic, analytics, and engineering workflows, and deploy AI agents in real power plant environments. Collaborate with engineering, reliability, and software teams to validate insights and ensure safe, reliable deployment using Python and time-series data.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and deploy hands-on AI/ML and agent-based solutions to support engineering workflows and power plant operations.
•Build AI agents that automate control logic generation, graphics configuration, reporting, and engineering workflows while ensuring plant safety and control integrity.
•Analyze control system and operational data to identify patterns, build predictive capabilities, and deliver data-driven decision support in real plants.
•Apply AI-based anomaly detection, diagnostics, and decision-support solutions to real power-plant challenges.
•Test, validate, and monitor AI solutions in live or near-real plant environments and continuously improve AI performance with feedback.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in electrical, instrumentation, mechanical, or control engineering (or equivalent plant experience).
•Hands-on experience in power-plant operations, control systems, or industrial automation (DCS/SCADA exposure required; Emerson Ovation preferred).
•Strong understanding of plant processes (boiler, turbine, balance-of-plant, heat rate, alarms, trips) and instrumentation, control loops, and operational troubleshooting.
•Basic programming or data skills (Python, SQL, or similar) sufficient to work with analytics and AI teams.
•Practical understanding of anomaly detection, predictive maintenance, or performance monitoring concepts (application level) and ability to translate operator problems into deployable digital/AI solutions.
