Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with engineers, field operations, and EHS to design and execute distribution projects for safe, efficient company-owned power infrastructure.
  • •Predict electricity consumption for geographic regions and support field planning for accurate forecasts and energy management.
  • •Engage with utility companies to secure sufficient power supply for upcoming loads and future energy requirements.
  • •Interpret electrical power system models, troubleshoot potential issues, and improve power factor, system efficiency, and power quality.
  • •Plan electrical substation development, produce electrical drawings, assess field failures, program SEL relays and reclosers with acSELerator, and communicate root causes to operations.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • •3+ years of relevant experience in electrical engineering or power infrastructure engineering (industry experience preferred).
  • •Strong knowledge of API 500, NEC Code, and associated electrical codes.
  • •Ability to interpret electrical power system models for forecasting and troubleshooting.
  • •Experience supporting field failures with root-cause identification and engineering communication to operations.
