Job Summary

Support the Investigative Services Legal Technology Lab by helping operate, maintain, and modernize forensic and eDiscovery tooling. Assist with supervised digital forensics, data recovery, and evidence preservation across computers, mobile devices, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems. Improve efficiency through automation, workflow updates, reporting, documentation, and lab asset readiness. Provide technical support and participate in research, testing, and proof-of-concept work using emerging investigative and legal technology tools.

Key Responsibilities

•Support the operation, maintenance, and modernization of the Legal Technology Lab environment, including hardware, software, infrastructure, and forensic tools.
•Assist with supervised digital forensics, eDiscovery, data recovery, and evidence preservation across computers, mobile devices, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems.
•Improve lab/team efficiency through automation, workflow enhancements, reporting, documentation, and internal system updates.
•Support lab readiness via asset tracking and organization, device preparation, software configuration, monitoring, patching, and technology asset lifecycle activities.
•Provide technical support to lab users and help troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and infrastructure issues.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 22 hourly

Key Requirements

•Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Security, Digital Forensics, Information Technology, or a related field.
•Strong interest in Digital Forensics, eDiscovery, Cybersecurity, Investigations, or Data Governance.
•Handle sensitive and confidential information responsibly.
•Demonstrate strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
•Have basic understanding of operating systems, file systems, storage technologies, PC hardware, and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
