Job Summary

Lead structural engineering for major transportation and infrastructure projects, including metro rail stations, tunnels, depots, bridges, viaducts, and maritime structures. Provide technical leadership across structural design and analysis, review calculations and submissions, and manage delivery from tender through construction completion. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, monitor budgets, schedules, and risks, and ensure designs comply with Singapore regulations and international standards while mentoring structural and BIM professionals.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead structural design and analysis for metro rail stations, tunnels, viaducts, depots, road and pedestrian bridges, flyovers/interchanges, and maritime structures.
•Perform temporary works and construction staging activities, including review and approval of design calculations, drawings, reports, specifications, and technical submissions.
•Manage structural engineering packages across concept, feasibility, preliminary and detailed design stages; plan and monitor schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
•Coordinate multidisciplinary teams (geotechnical and tunnel, civil infrastructure, architecture, MEP, and BIM/digital engineering).
•Act as technical lead for stakeholder interface, drive safety/quality/compliance, and lead, mentor, and review structural and BIM teams.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
•15 years of structural design experience.
•Proven experience on metro rail projects (underground/elevated stations, tunnels, viaducts, depots) and road bridges/transportation infrastructure.
•Experience delivering the full design management cycle from tender through construction completion.
•Strong working knowledge of structural design codes and software proficiency in analysis/design and BIM/digital engineering tools.
