Key Responsibilities

  • •Represent areas of knowledge, understanding, and skills to students, demonstrating truth, justice, equality of opportunity, human rights, benevolence, and compassion.
  • •Engage and motivate students to achieve beyond expectations, using excellent subject knowledge and pedagogic skills.
  • •Plan lessons and schemes of work that take account of individual learning needs and learning styles, and set and mark work both in school and at home.
  • •Assess, record, and report on student development, progress, and attainment, including providing oral and written assessment, reports, and feedback.
  • •Maintain classroom and school discipline consistently, protect students from abuse (including bullying and corporal punishment), and communicate professionally with parents.
