Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and manage a team responsible for offshored Accounting Control activities, delivering timely and accurate daily and periodic reporting with auditable controls.
  • •Ensure data integrity and that traded products are correctly accounted and disclosed in financial statements.
  • •Engage stakeholders, manage expectations, and influence/escalate issues for timely resolution while responding to queries and requests.
  • •Manage sourcing and hiring quality people into the team, including adherence to group policies, audit, controls, and compliance requirements.
  • •Assess operational risks, manage change and cross-training, ensure BCP documentation/testing, and keep SOPs updated.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree / MBA Finance or similar with at least 5+ years of experience in Controls, preferably in a Product Control, Reconciliation, Accounting or Reporting environment.
  • •Experience managing Product Control, Surveillance, or Reporting/Analysis or finance activities with independent accountability for results.
  • •Knowledge of traded markets products (Foreign Exchange, Fixed Income, Derivatives such as Options, Interest rate swaps, Equity Derivatives, Credit Derivatives) and their valuations.
  • •Demonstrated team leadership qualities with a track record of managing diverse/multi-culture work environments.
  • •IT user expertise working on systems and applications, including proficiency in MS Excel, Access, Word, and PPT.
