Key Responsibilities

  • •Regularly report financial results to regional and Group offices under IFRS 9 & 17, including ancillary reports, analyses, and commentaries
  • •Review investment accounting reports submitted to the regulator
  • •Prepare, test, and implement relevant systems in line with Group standards and guidelines
  • •Coordinate with local Finance and Actuarial teams, the Regional Office, and external consultants on IFRS reporting matters (may act as primary accounting representative in IC/PLIA discussions)
  • •Prepare and review key accounting inputs for IFRS runs (e.g., GOC allocations and system extracts) and ensure complete process documentation

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree with a major in accounting or finance
  • •At least 5 years of work experience from insurance, external audit or other financial institutions
  • •Knowledge and exposure in IFRS 17/IFRS 9, PAS 39 and insurance company financial statements
  • •Good understanding of life insurance accounting process
  • •Strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent oral and written English communication
