Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor and manage certification status for new products intended for the Japanese market in collaboration with the U.S. compliance team.
  • •Track and disseminate updates on Japanese regulations (VCCI, Radio/Telecom Giteki, PSE) to relevant teams.
  • •Verify localization status, confirm support systems, and manage SKU-level product information for distributors based on certification progress.
  • •Serve as the primary liaison for internal teams and sales partners regarding certification; negotiate and coordinate with government authorities and certification bodies as needed.
  • •Plan and run program lifecycle work, including governance/reporting, change management, risk/resource management, and corrective process improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •Fundamental understanding of Japanese hardware certification regulations (VCCI, Radio/Telecom Giteki, PSE).
  • •Native/fluent Japanese skills (written/verbal) and business-level English for global collaboration.
  • •Proactive ability to research, organize, and drive tasks to completion independently.
  • •Ability to learn and use various IT tools effectively (IT literacy).
  • •Strong motivation to build deep knowledge of Cisco products.
