Job Summary

Serve as the first point of contact for clients, keeping their IT infrastructure and systems operational. Monitor client environments, identify and resolve standard, low-complexity incidents and service requests, and provide support via telephony, ITSM tickets, or chat. Perform routine maintenance like patching and configuration changes, work across domains (cloud, security, networking, applications, collaboration), support disaster recovery activities, and ensure seamless shift handovers to meet service levels.

Key Responsibilities

•Act as first point of contact to ensure clients’ IT infrastructure and systems remain operational.
•Proactively monitor environments and identify problems/errors before or as they occur.
•Investigate and resolve first-line incidents and service requests, escalating when necessary to meet service levels.
•Perform maintenance activities such as patching and configuration changes to keep client systems running smoothly.
•Support disaster recovery functions and tests, and provide seamless shift handovers for continuous service.

Key Requirements

•Entry-level troubleshooting and support experience in security, network, data centre, systems, or storage in a medium to large ICT organization.
•Basic knowledge of management agents, redundancy concepts, and ITIL processes.
•Discipline in handling day-to-day tickets using defined SOPs and respond promptly.
•Strong ability to resolve tickets using knowledge articles and available SOPs.
•A bachelor’s degree in IT or Computing (or equivalent qualification/work experience).
