Key Responsibilities

  • •Inspect, tune, repair, and prepare skis and snowboards to ensure safe, proper performance.
  • •Perform daily tuning services including waxing, sharpening, edge maintenance, base repair, and other adjustments.
  • •Assist guests with equipment care guidance and with selecting appropriate skis, snowboards, boots, poles, and gear.
  • •Verify ski bindings according to established manufacturer specifications and procedures.
  • •Maintain rental inventory and tuning logs, and review equipment for wear or damage to remove from service when needed.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 1 year of experience in a ski shop, ski rental operation, or winter sports environment.
  • •Strong preference for experience operating Wintersteiger ski and snowboard tuning equipment (or similar).
  • •Proven experience tuning and maintaining alpine skis and snowboards (base repair, edge sharpening, waxing, polishing).
  • •Prior mountain resort experience with operational knowledge (especially of Big Sky) is a plus.
  • •Passion for skiing or snowboarding and a commitment to creating exceptional guest experiences.
