Key Responsibilities

  • •Transfer chicks from boxes to the grading wheel and grade newly hatched chicks for defects.
  • •Operate, set up, and clean processing equipment including a robot; perform de-toeing according to customer order.
  • •Administer coccivac according to customer order as part of day-one processing (70%).
  • •Clean and sanitize chick rooms, equipment, and work areas, including maintaining foot pans and hand sanitizer.
  • •Prepare and paper chick boxes and maintain a clean and organized workspace (30%) while following safety policies.
