Key Responsibilities

  • •Generate scrap purchases within a defined geographic area by developing supplier relationships and negotiating prices and long-term contracts.
  • •Visit and communicate daily with current and potential suppliers to grow and maintain the supplier base.
  • •Prepare and submit bids/RFQs, calculate required resources, and coordinate bid forms with internal stakeholders.
  • •Manage metals purchasing activities including confirming bids/pricing, reviewing market conditions and inventory position, and advancing payments per policy.
