Key Responsibilities

  • •Counsel customers on investment topics including retirement, tax, education, income management, risk management, suitability and investment objectives.
  • •Maintain compliance with Regulation Best Interest (Reg BI) and act as a fiduciary in advisory relationships.
  • •Acquire, expand and maintain client relationships through business development, client networking and internal partnerships.
  • •Research investment products, markets and the economy; perform portfolio and investment allocation analysis to support recommendations.
  • •Develop and maintain a personal business plan and monitor production activity to meet revenue and individual sales goals.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline (preferred).
  • •Minimum of five years of experience in the investment services industry.
  • •FINRA registrations including Series 7 and Series 66 (or Series 63 and 65 in lieu of Series 66).
  • •State of Virginia life insurance and annuities licenses.
  • •AWMA or CFP designations (preferred).
