Job Summary

Lead the development and implementation of the Royal Canadian Air Force Basic Flight Training program by supporting the design, review, validation, and integration of aviation training systems. Act as a subject matter expert on Astra II aircraft systems, collaborate with instructors and courseware teams, and help ensure training solutions align with operational objectives. Support courseware development and acceptance testing, contribute to training device and learning technology integration, and coordinate readiness of the training centre.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as a subject matter expert on Astra II aircraft systems and associated flight operations.
•Support infrastructure planning for training devices, facilities, and associated systems.
•Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and RCAF representatives to develop and implement training programs.
•Design, develop, and review aviation training courseware for classroom, simulator, and live-flight training content.
•Support courseware acceptance testing, validation and verification (V&V), regression testing, and integration of training devices and learning technologies.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•Minimum 10 years of flying experience.
•Experience delivering aviation-related training.
•Ability to travel within Canada as required.
•Eligibility to obtain and maintain Controlled Goods clearance and Reliability status.
•Ability to obtain any required export/re-transfer authorizations in accordance with applicable ITAR regulations; must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
