Job Summary

Finance & accounting professional responsible for journal entries, reconciliations, inter-company accounting, and financial reporting under BRGAAP and US GAAP. Partners with Local Controller to strengthen internal controls, supports monthly closings, audits, and external reporting, while handling fixed assets and GAAP research. Works across Brazil-related records and cross-functional teams in Portuguese and English.

Key Responsibilities

•Participates in the general accounting function, including inter-company accounting, cash management/reconciliation, financial reporting, and financial analysis.
•Assist in closing monthly financial records for Brazil and partnering with Corporate as needed.
•Develop policies and procedures to ensure internal controls are in place to provide reasonable assurance that company assets are protected.
•Perform GAAP research on various topics.
•Execute fixed asset routines, including depreciation, asset classification, and integration with the accounting system.

Key Requirements

•Business degree in accounting. 3 years of combined Public Accounting and/or multinational business.
•Knowledge of US GAAP and BRGAAP (IFRS) internal controls and financial reporting, required.
•Ability to work collaboratively across departmental functions."
•Excellent communication skills in Portuguese and English
•Must be detail-oriented and organized.
