Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop backend and frontend services for the Athelas device product, improving infrastructure and building robust, scalable services
  • •Translate product requirements into technical solutions for production systems
  • •Implement cybersecurity best practices across the software development lifecycle
  • •Collaborate with engineering, operations, quality, and regulatory functions to ensure compliance and operational requirements are met
  • •Establish and enforce best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent extensive experience
  • •Professional software engineering experience with proficiency in Python
  • •Deep expertise in developing and managing data pipelines and experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
  • •Advanced knowledge in containerization and cloud services (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • •Experience building, scaling, and maintaining production environments; strong monitoring, alerting, and reliability engineering skills
