Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain safety and security for staff, artists, vendors, and guests while creating a positive guest experience
  • •Serve as an information and assistance resource for Foundation Members within the Foundation Room and House of Blues
  • •Monitor lounge areas and podium, remove hazards, and safeguard against theft and property damage
  • •Prevent and resolve altercations, lead emergency evacuation procedures, and provide assistance as needed
  • •Inspect guests using metal detector or pat-down search, enforce photo/video policies, and communicate using radios, hand signals, and flashlights

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 16.9 - 20 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Current Guard Card or PSO Card
  • •CA Food Handlers Card
  • •Proof of completion of an 8 or 16 hour certification course, plus BSIS annual recertification if the Guard Card is over 1 year old
  • •Read, write and speak English fluently
  • •Must be able to lift or move up to 25 lbs and have a High School Diploma (or equivalent)
