Key Responsibilities

•Overall resource planning – fortnightly communications with ecology PMs on key deadlines and survey resourcing, maintaining project programmes and managing project budgets, including land access processes.
•Contributing to bids and tenders for new work alongside the team.
•Annual checks and renewal of subconsultants; preparation of subconsultant contracts and raising Purchase Orders.
•Identify skills and resource gaps and consider outsourcing/recruitment opportunities, training or upskilling requirements.
•Managing projects via Horizon including project reviews, budget checks, amendments, invoicing, scope creep, and compensation events.

Key Requirements

•Has an appropriate academic qualification in a related discipline.
•May be an ecologist (or work within another technical environmental discipline) who wishes to develop in an office-based project management and coordination direction.
•Is highly organised and able to produce project programmes.
•Has good commercial awareness and an understanding of contract administration.
•Is solution-focused and proactive communicator.
