Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver brand-standard service by preparing food that meets quality, taste, appearance, and correct serving temperature.
  • •Follow shift procedures: check function sheets, confirm duties with senior chef, prepare mise en place and dishes, take deliveries, clear sections, and serve guests.
  • •Promote friendly, professional service to customers and positively promote dishes available.
  • •Handle complaints promptly and professionally, showing genuine care and concern.
  • •Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the department, ensure legal and statutory compliance, and report any information security breaches to the IT Service Desk.

Key Requirements

  • •Previous experience in a similar Commis Chef position in a 5-star property for at least 1 year.
  • •Fluency in spoken English and excellent communication skills.
  • •College or school diploma preferred.
  • •Maintain proper personal hygiene and wear the correct uniform to meet brand standards.
  • •Demonstrate a strong customer service focus and initiative to resolve issues while communicating with customers and colleagues.
