Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the delivery of Finance-related regulatory reporting deliverables, including internal checklist completion, reconciliation, and analytical review.
  • •Maintain and enhance regulatory reporting controls to ensure compliance and effective operation in a sustainable manner.
  • •Serve as the main designated liaison officer to the Regulator for Finance, ensuring regulatory deliverables are completed, including notices, surveys, queries, and ad-hoc requests.
  • •Manage investment reporting deliverables for local and group reporting, including month-end closing, correct accounting entries, and controlled accounts.
  • •Provide investment performance analysis with the investment team and oversee investment-linked fund reports and company annual statutory accounts.

Key Requirements

  • •University degree in accounting or a related discipline, with a recognized professional accounting qualification an advantage.
  • •Extensive experience in financial reporting in insurance, or auditing of financial institutions in big 4 auditing firms.
  • •Sound knowledge of the Insurance Act and regulatory reporting notices and surveys.
  • •Strong self-motivation and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • •Good communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills, with a sense of ownership and servicing mindset.
