Key Responsibilities

  • •Own full contract financial matters, including timely monthly reporting and optimizing financial performance.
  • •Report business/country financial performance to senior management, including variance analysis, accounts receivable metrics, accruals, and unbilled analysis.
  • •Own annual budget and forecasts, including rolling forecasts, validation/challenge of backlog, and forecasting accuracy through monthly actuals.
  • •Lead customer billing to ensure invoices are prepared according to commercial contract terms and drive working capital improvements to optimize cash collection and minimize DSO/TTB.
  • •Manage and develop the finance team, support audits/dispute management, engage with commercial teams pre- and post-award, and ensure effective controls and project accounting/provisioning decisions.

Key Requirements

  • •Qualified accountant or working towards a qualification
  • •Minimum of 8 years relevant accounting experience
  • •Commercial experience with a good understanding of cost models
  • •Experience managing and developing teams with a track record in people management
  • •Good IT/systems knowledge and experience of business partnering
