Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage the wider technical program across the Victorian Workers Compensation Claims operation, ensuring timely technical intervention over each claim lifecycle.
  • •Ensure technical specialists are aware, capable, and supported in delivering technically required interventions in line with implemented and controlled processes and programs.
  • •Oversee WorkSafe’s Integrity Review program and allocate resorting responsibilities for dedicated Claims Specialists.
  • •Own and update policy and procedure documents relevant to technical intervention programs, including enhancements and changes.
  • •Set program targets, controls, and measures; review and communicate performance, and provide recommendations to improve claims management objectives.

Key Requirements

  • •Expert knowledge of Victorian Workers’ Compensation legislation, WorkSafe policies and regulations.
  • •Significant experience managing technical claims and complex situations with internal and external stakeholders.
  • •Experience within the Victorian Scheme at a management level, preferably within an Agent environment.
  • •Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and empower people to develop individual and team potential.
