Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

•Collect and clarify technical requirements from stakeholders before design work.
•Develop design concepts, including detailed 2D drawings and 3D models in Creo 9, plus validation calculations.
•Conduct design self-review and present work for internal technical reviews, incorporating feedback.
•Recommend value additions and process improvements to enhance product performance and manufacturability.
•Manage project timelines and deliverables, reporting proactively to the Project Manager or Team Leader.

Key Requirements

•4 to 6 years of engineering and product development experience in the heavy engineering sector.
•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE/BTech) with at least 70% or 7.5 CGPA.
•Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes, hydraulics, and engineering materials.
•Practical structural design experience for heavy machinery products, including engineering calculations and validation.
•Proficiency with Creo 9 and PLM tools such as Teamcenter; familiarity with GD&T and tolerance considerations.
