Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for a credible Identity Threat Detection and Response function within Elastic Security.
  • •Evolve identity-defense outcomes by building on Entity Analytics and Entity Store foundations from behavioral analytics to identity-based results.
  • •Model and plan detections for non-human and AI agent identities (service accounts, workloads, secrets, self-directed agents) including continuous, machine-scale identities.
  • •Partner with threat research and detection engineering on identity-specific threats (credential access, privilege escalation, identity-based lateral movement, identity provider/token abuse).
  • •Drive response and containment by turning detections into actions via integrations and automated responses with human oversight for important actions.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of experience in product management or solution delivery for security products (e.g., SIEM, XDR, EDR, identity security, detection and response).
  • •Solid identity-security depth, including identity-based attack techniques and identity fabric (e.g., Active Directory, cloud identity providers, SSO, OAuth, privileged access) across on-prem and cloud.
  • •Fluency in non-human identities such as service accounts, workloads, secrets, and AI agents, including continuous behavior and lifecycle ownership.
  • •Deep technical comprehension of AI/ML concepts including behavioral analytics, anomaly detection, LLMs, and agentic systems.
  • •Strong communication and the ability to lead across stakeholders in a dynamic remote-first environment.
