Key Responsibilities

•Supervise all 2nd-shift plant production activities, directing manufacturing and material handling to meet production schedules and standards.
•Ensure employees follow safety policies, conduct pre-shift safety meetings, and drive compliance with safety programs (including lockout/tagout and hearing conservation).
•Train and supervise hourly employees; administer plant rules and procedures; manage staffing plans and make recommendations on HR actions.
•Maintain quality standards and drive continuous improvement on the production floor, including implementing and maintaining 5S methodology.
•Monitor and report shift metrics (production, runtime/downtime, maintenance work, quality deviations, materials, safety checklists, and personnel/time worked) and analyze labor/manufacturing costs.

Key Requirements

•Minimum of two years of college, preferably a bachelor’s degree in business management, or an acceptable combination of experience and education.

•Green Belt certification preferred.
•Ability to communicate quickly and effectively with shift members, management, customers, and vendors.
•Ability to manage and train all shift members on an ongoing basis.
