Build and maintain service provider relationships, direct partner sales enablement priorities, and communicate performance metrics to accelerate growth in the Ciena Partner Network ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop, evolve, and execute managed services portfolio strategy globally for telecom service providers, carriers, and network operators.
•Refresh the service catalogue and introduce managed service offerings aligned to partner and provider outcomes.
•Coordinate cross-functional engagement across account management, product line management, partner programs, regional leaders, and CMS business development consultants.
•Cultivate and grow relationships with service providers and operators aligned to business growth strategies.
•Lead sales enablement strategy development and communicate performance metrics to leadership to drive partner sales acceleration.

Key Requirements

•10+ years of experience in telecom sales, business development, product management, or channel management.
•Experience with direct and indirect sales strategy, channel programs, and partner ecosystems.
•Strong consultative sales and partner management experience to grow and maintain long-term carrier relationships.
•Apply telecommunications technologies such as optical transport, Carrier Ethernet, IP, and wave services.
•Use commercial and financial analysis, including managed services and market opportunity assessment, within global cross-functional matrix environments.
