Job Summary

Prepare and analyze internal financial reports and monthly business performance, supporting budgeting and forecasting for export business, statutory P&Ls, and structure costs (SG&A). Serve as a finance business partner to Sales & Marketing by delivering actionable insights for strategic initiatives. Collaborate on monthly estimates and annual planning, manage annual and long-term P&L budget submissions, improve cost tracking/forecasting processes, and support investor relations and mentoring within the FP&A team.

Key Responsibilities

•Prepare monthly business-oriented financial presentations and reports for senior leadership to measure Profit and Loss results versus objectives.
•Lead budgeting and forecasting activities, including monthly export and statutory P&L commentaries and quarterly preparatory work for external statutory requirements.
•Monitor structure costs (SG&A) through budget building, business commentaries, and cross-department catchups.
•Partner with Sales & Marketing and stakeholders to provide actionable insights and recommendations supporting strategic initiatives.
•Improve structure cost tracking and forecasting processes/files, and support investor relations analyses and mentoring within the team.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 78,900 - 98,600

Key Requirements

•Previous financial planning and reporting experience, and/or experience in a financial consulting firm (minimum 2/3 years preferred).
•Fundamental knowledge of accounting and financial concepts.
•Previous industry/consumer packaged goods experience is an asset.
•Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify data issues and find solutions.
•High proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), with experience in tools such as Essbase, Tagetik, Anaplan, and Power BI as an asset.
