Key Responsibilities

•Manage the P&Ls for the NBC News Marketing and News HQ departments (including preparing budgets, submitting regular financial pacing updates, partnering with production executives, and identifying risks and opportunities).
•Lead regular capital expenditure analyses to monitor investments in on-air production equipment, studio infrastructure, and digital product development.
•Partner with technical leaders on strategic initiatives designed to streamline operations, manage cost, and enhance business decision-making.
•Prepare executive updates for senior management and distill complex information into simple, actionable insights.
•Complete monthly close deliverables for all managed departments (including journal entries, variance analysis, headcount analysis, and balance sheet account reconciliations).

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 80,000 - 95,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
•2+ years of relevant experience.
•Excellent computer / analytical skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
•Proficient use of SAP/Business Warehouse/BPC or similar accounting software.
•Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, requiring presence from the New York, NY office at least four days per week.
