Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform general secretarial and clerical duties to support government office procedures, including answering phones and greeting/screening visitors.
  • •Receive, review, type, edit, and process correspondence and documents; sort, route, track, distribute, and file materials.
  • •Schedule appointments/meetings and support meetings on and off NSWCDD locations.
  • •Process documentation and records using Navy ERP and government systems, including timecards, training requests, and shipping/travel-related requests.
  • •Maintain office supplies/inventory and filing per records management policies; create spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations and manage SharePoint document retention folders.

Key Requirements

  • •Must be a US Citizen able to obtain and maintain a government DoD Secret clearance.
  • •Two (2) years of work-related experience creating and maintaining documentation and data management systems.
  • •Experience providing general administrative support at the branch level working with government leadership and military personnel.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Windows & Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access) and Adobe.
  • •Ability to type 40 words per minute and work independently while communicating effectively in writing and by phone.
