Job Summary

Lead the build of an HIV program within a human-first drug discovery platform. Stand up the HIV lab from scratch, define biosafety and assays, and serve as the in-house HIV expert. Develop viral-load, infectivity, latency, neutralization, integration, and replication assays, execute experiments with rigor, and ensure a compliant BSL2+ lab environment guiding platform biology.

Key Responsibilities

•Build the HIV lab from the ground up, including equipment, reagents, SOPs, and controls, ready before the first project arrives
•Be the in-house HIV expert for HIV biology, virology, and assay design
•Stand up the assay menu (viral load, infectivity, latency reactivation, neutralization, integration, replication kinetics) and validate readiness
•Execute experiments with rigor, interpret data, and adjust plans as needed
•Co-own biosafety to maintain a BSL2+ lab as required by operations leadership

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 110,000 - 124,000 annually
