Job Summary

Build and scale a Data Science organization within the GBSC Strategy, Data & Insights team. Lead and develop a team of data scientists, translating business strategy into data science use cases and executive-ready narratives. Oversee predictive/statistical/ML model design and delivery with explainability, experimentation, hypothesis testing, and causal analysis. Partner with data engineering and analytics teams to productionize models, enforce governance and lifecycle management, and measure business impact.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and develop the Data Science team by setting priorities and performance expectations, providing technical and people leadership, and promoting best practices across the model lifecycle.
•Drive continuous improvement by tracking initiative success and refining processes and analytical methods.
•Translate business strategy into data science use cases and deliver clearly communicated, actionable insights as a trusted advisor.
•Oversee predictive, statistical, and machine learning model design and delivery with explainable, scalable approaches grounded in experimentation and causal analysis.
•Partner with data engineering, platform, and analytics teams to enable high-quality data, production-ready analytics/models, and enforce model governance and lifecycle standards.

Key Requirements

•Undergraduate degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
•Advanced knowledge of data science programming languages, including R and Python.
•Proven track record delivering analytics or machine learning solutions that drive business outcomes.
•Prior experience leading Data Science teams as a people leader.
•Experience working with large datasets and modern data platforms, including cloud or distributed systems, plus model deployment/monitoring and lifecycle management.
