Key Responsibilities

  • •Own strategic planning and overall project management for major capital projects, including budgeting, planning, resource management, and timely execution.
  • •Ensure projects are executed to Ingredion standards, providing technical process expertise and consultation to engineering activities to complete capital projects.
  • •Manage CAPEX goals and engineering resources to deliver according to the business plan.
  • •Lead hands-on engineering work on key projects, including participation in safety programs (MOC, RA, HAZOP), contractor safety, engineering calculations, and equipment sizing/selection.
  • •Drive project quality and continuous improvement by establishing China engineering standards, benchmarking best practices, and applying GMP design and execution.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or above in chemical, mechanical, electrical, or control engineering.
  • •Minimum of 10 years in engineering and project management within a multinational company, managing people across multiple locations.
  • •Experience delivering projects exceeding $10MM.
  • •Fluent in English and Mandarin.
  • •Comfortable communicating effectively with multiple stakeholders at different levels to secure buy-in.
