Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate and support bagging systems, including jam busting on conveyor systems and loading/operating bagging machines with quality control and issue escalation.
  • •Perform basic and medium machine setup and resolve straightforward faults and jams as part of day-to-day operations.
  • •Support on-grid robotic pick operations by preparing, cleansing, repairing, and reassembling offline end effector units and filters to maintain availability.
  • •Carry out scheduled low-level preventive maintenance and cleaning of material handling equipment and support maintenance/repair tasks under engineering supervision.
  • •Maintain housekeeping, care, and security of equipment, and work safely at all times in line with training, site rules, and COSHH requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Comfortable working at heights up to 15m and able to work safely as part of a team and individually in a light industrial environment.
  • •Good organisational ability to plan and prioritise, with strong attention to detail and practical problem-solving skills.
  • •Ability to support bagging systems operations including loading/operating bagging machines, basic/medium setup, and resolving straightforward faults and jams.
  • •Computer literacy for using tools such as Google Docs, Windows, and web browser applications.
  • •Ability to follow Safe Systems of Work, standard operating procedures, and COSHH requirements for handling cleaning chemicals.
