Key Responsibilities

  • •Track category trends to sharpen communications strategies, messaging, content development, and outreach.
  • •Draft and edit content packages for earned efforts, including press releases and pitches, and tailor messaging for different audiences and channels.
  • •Use AI-supported monitoring tools and real-time media intelligence to flag coverage, identify story opportunities, and maintain a living map of journalists and outlets.
  • •Partner with cross-functional teams to plan and deliver events and external marketing activations, including timelines, guest lists, agendas, and logistical deliverables.
  • •Provide on-site and virtual event support and assist with post-event reporting, coverage tracking, attendee communications, and evaluation.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 35,000 - 75,000

Key Requirements

  • •At least six months of experience, including internships, in the PR field (agency experience is a plus).
  • •Based in New York with the ability to work within a hybrid in-office model, with at least three days per week in the Burson NYC office at 3WTC.
  • •Excellent written and verbal communication skills that flex across formats.
  • •Strong organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and hands-on experience with AI plus a willingness to keep learning.
